Dixie Dazzle Designs
Dixie Dazzle Designs is a small design studio in Southeast Tennessee. I personally design and handcraft each piece of my jewelry with great attention to detail and quality.
I have always been interested in crafts and have tried (at least wanted to try) most everything out there. I discovered jewelry making quite by accident - the old story of needing a necklace to match an outfit and "Gee, I can just make that myself". Then I discovered Etsy, Ebay and all the wonderful supplies available that I didn't know existed. Then, of course, I had a huge stash of supplies & jewelry & decided to try my hand at selling my creations. I have done very well at the juried shows I have been accepted to and have developed a following of folks who always look for me at the shows.
I especially fell in love with the vintage style stampings and cameos, since I have loved "old stuff" since I was a teenager, including anything from farm implements to the fabulous rhinestone brooches of the 30's & 40's. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be offered a large collection of vintage findings from an elderly, retired jeweler.
On a more personal note - I am from a small town in southeast Tennessee and still a country girl at heart. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband of 43 years, two children, 4 granddaughters ages 14 years to 2 years. I also breed AKC Boxers who are my big babies now.
Most importantly? I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and I thank Him daily for all His blessings to me.
